REVELATION 4:6-9

6 In the center, around the throne, were four living creatures, and they were covered with eyes, in front and in back. 7 The first living creature was like a lion, the second was like an ox, the third had a face like a man, the fourth was like a flying eagle. 8 Each of the four living creatures had six wings and was covered with eyes all around, even under its wings. Day and night they never stop saying:

“‘Holy, holy, holy

is the Lord God Almighty,’[b]

who was, and is, and is to come.”

9 Whenever the living creatures give glory, honor and thanks to him who sits on the throne and who lives for ever and ever,

WORSHIP

Surrounded By Holy - Bethel Music, Zahriya Zachary

There’s some words in that song:

  1. “The more that I enter in, You consume all I am, I lose myself, in the One who is Holy.”
  2. “As we come face to face, You take my breath away, all I can do is cry “Holy, Holy!!!”

Philippians 2:1-11 NIV

[1] Therefore if you have any encouragement from being united with Christ, if any comfort from his love, if any common sharing in the Spirit, if any tenderness and compassion, [2] then make my joy complete by being like-minded, having the same love, being one in spirit and of one mind. [3] Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit. Rather, in humility value others above yourselves, [4] not looking to your own interests but each of you to the interests of the others. [5] In your relationships with one another, have the same mindset as Christ Jesus: [6] Who, being in very nature God, did not consider equality with God something to be used to his own advantage; [7] rather, he made himself nothing by taking the very nature of a servant, being made in human likeness. [8] And being found in appearance as a man, he humbled himself by becoming obedient to death— even death on a cross! [9] Therefore God exalted him to the highest place and gave him the name that is above every name, [10] that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth, [11] and every tongue acknowledge that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.

[SN] You want your life to change, you want your situation to change, you need healing, you need motivation, you need more energy, you need more ideas, you need more understanding, discernment, and clarity?

****THEN FIRST CHANGE YOUR PERSPECTIVE.***

James 4:13-17 NIV

[13] Now listen, you who say, “Today or tomorrow we will go to this or that city, spend a year there, carry on business and make money.”

[14] Why, you do not even know what will happen tomorrow. What is your life? You are a mist that appears for a little while and then vanishes. [15] Instead, you ought to say, “If it is the Lord’s will, we will live and do this or that.” [16] As it is, you boast in your arrogant schemes. All such boasting is evil. [17] If anyone, then, knows the good they ought to do and doesn’t do it, it is sin for them.

[SN] When have you ever said, God this week I will choose to spend so much time in Your Word, and in prayer, and I will attend a Wednesday night prayer group, and sing in the choir, and Bible Study, in fact, God I will start a Bible study in my own family, I will seek you out daily, with every second, with every breath that is within this vessel of a body, right here, designed by You to give You glory!!!

I will cry HOLY HOLY HOLY to the LORD GOD in the highest!!!!

Altar Call

We're running out of time folks, I'm not saying Jesus is coming back today or tomorrow, for Scripture says, "no man knows the day or the hour, not even the Son," but we're running out of time because everyday we are a little closer to our grave. Time is not our friend, brothers and sisters. Time is ticking away, one second at a time, you could die on the ride home from this church in a car accident that's not even your fault.

I was posed with the question a little while back about "fear." Like "what am I afraid of?"

You want to know, after a night of reflection, what God hit me with?

My fear is that some of you here today can come on a Sunday, which is just about the only time I see you, and sit in this church for years, year after year and not once fully surrender your life to Jesus. Do I need to remind you what's at stake? Newsflash! Eternity with the Father, or eternity away from Him.

Bit Scripture says, "It is by grace through faith in Christ alone, and not of your works, lest we boast.

Church attendance is a WORK folks!!! If I am speaking to you today, make sure you get right with God and accept Jesus as your Lord and Savior.

You might say, "well Chaplain, or pastor, I hear you, but there's still this block, this wall, this thing that is keeping me from fully understanding why it's so important to attend...

I'm here to tell you that it's your heart and unbelief that is holding you back.

So now what? What can you do?

1. REPENT, and believe the Gospel!

2. Turn away from the sin that's hindering your faith

3. Fasting and prayer to handle your "Unbelief" start taking care of yourself better. Your body is the temple for the Holy Spirit.

Mark 9:17-29 New International Version (NIV)

17 A man in the crowd answered, “Teacher, I brought you my son, who is possessed by a spirit that has robbed him of speech. 18Whenever it seizes him, it throws him to the ground. He foams at the mouth, gnashes his teeth and becomes rigid. I asked your disciples to drive out the spirit, but they could not.”

19 “You unbelieving generation,” Jesus replied, “how long shall I stay with you? How long shall I put up with you? Bring the boy to me.”

20 So they brought him. When the spirit saw Jesus, it immediately threw the boy into a convulsion. He fell to the ground and rolled around, foaming at the mouth.

21 Jesus asked the boy’s father, “How long has he been like this?”

“From childhood,” he answered. 22“It has often thrown him into fire or water to kill him. But if you can do anything, take pity on us and help us.”

23 “ ‘If you can’?” said Jesus. “Everything is possible for one who believes.”

24 Immediately the boy’s father exclaimed, “I do believe; help me overcome my unbelief!”

25 When Jesus saw that a crowd was running to the scene, he rebuked the impure spirit. “You deaf and mute spirit,” he said, “I command you, come out of him and never enter him again.”

26The spirit shrieked, convulsed him violently and came out. The boy looked so much like a corpse that many said, “He’s dead.” 27But Jesus took him by the hand and lifted him to his feet, and he stood up.

28 After Jesus had gone indoors, his disciples asked him privately, “Why couldn’t we drive it out?”

29He replied, “This kind can come out only by prayer and fasting. a

4. Stop allowing your stomach to control your emotions, and your mind and FAST.
