FBC of Wahiawa Adult Ministry

Hello there, my name is Kyle McCool, and I am the NEW Young Adult's Leader for First Baptist Church of Wahiawa.

It has been an honor to be selected and to serve this wonderful church in Wahiawa. Here is a little bit about me:

  • 32 years old, born in Montgomery, Alabama. Grew up in Bethel Acres, Oklahoma. Played college baseball for Redlands Community College, attended Connors State College, Oklahoma Baptist University, and graduated from Wayland Baptist University with a degree in Christian Ministry. Currently working on a Master of Divinity and expecting to graduate this November.
  • Former Cavalry Scout in the Active Duty Army at Schofield Barracks, and currently the Chaplain Candidate for the 100th Battalion at Fort Shafter Flatts in Honolulu. “GO FOR BROKE!!!”
  • Served in over 10 churches as a youth leader, speaker, Children’s Church Teacher, and even Music Worship Leader. Mentored and lead hundreds of Soldiers, Instructor of Strong Bonds, and an Ambassador of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

Something that is new and exciting is the fact that I will be leading Bible study every Sunday from 9-10am. To make things even better, the Young Adults Ministry will meet once a week on a weekday that works for everyone. We will meet at the Church THIS THURSDAY at 6:30PM for time of fellowship, prayer, and diving into this week's lesson from the Book of Mark found in the New Testament (Mark 3:20-30).

Come hungry and invite your friends this Thursday as we embark on a journey that will not only draw you closer to the Lord, but also will challenge you to make better decisions for the GLORY of the LORD!

PURPOSE

The purpose of this blog is to keep everyone informed and updated on not only the upcoming events, but to help encourage and motivate one another especially during rough times.

It is also a goal of mine to share pictures, videos, Bible verses, and motivational pieces, whenever I am unable to see you all in person. (Army drill/duty assignments, Illness, and or Personal Travel back home to see family).

It is my prayer that as we continue to meet weekly (Bible Study at 9am, and once a week at the Fellowship Hall), we will not only draw ourselves closer to the heart of Jesus, but also grow in our friendships with one another which will allow us to know how to support one another, pray for one another, and uplift one another.

Embarking on this journey together will also require the growth of new, positive, and inspiring Leaders for not only the church, but also your areas of influence.

The truth of the matter is this:
"You are either a MISSIONARY: (someone who loves Jesus enough to not only live out your life to glorify Him and tell others about Him),
OR
You are the MISSION FIELD: (someone who needs Jesus in their life).

This is just the beginning of a NEW Chapter for FBC of Wahiawa, and I hope you are as excited about all of this like I am.

Hope everyone is having a wonderful week, and I will see you tonight and SUNDAY!!!

GOD BLESS!!!
